Cream Cheese Frosting

Cream cheese frosting rocks!  It's amazingly creamy without being too sweet.  AND - it's fast and easy to make.

It starts with 4 simple ingredients:
Butter, cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar (that's what's in the red bowl)

Make sure your butter and cream cheese are nice and soft so you get a good consistency.  I take them out of the fridge when I start baking my cake.  That way there are no lumps in the frosting.

Put the cream cheese, butter and vanilla in the bowl of your mixer

and whip it until it's smooth and even.  There should probably be a picture here, but it was late and I must have forgotten it.  But - if you make some tonight....you can see what it looks like.  Just remember, beat until smooth and creamy.  All one color, no lumps or streaks.

Then add in the powdered sugar.  I have a splash/spray guard on my mixer, so I just dump it in all at once and let it go.  If you don't have a guard, you may want to add a little at a time.  Again, sorry about the lack of pictures, my brain was sleepy.  Mix that up until it's all blended....... and that's IT!  Really, no big deal, right???
